Yes. There is parking in front of the building at 161 Gillies Ave.  If full (unusual) some street parking is available on streets nearby (Brightside Road, Kipling ave, Domett Ave)

Generally an Initial Consult fee for a Urologist is $259, however they maybe extra charges for any associated diagnostic tests.  Some consults require extra time which may also cost more. Costs will largely be detailed in your appointment letter. On the day of the appointment extra procedures or medical consumables/medication maybe provided which could incur extra costs - you will be advised of the costs of these at the time. 

Southern Cross:

Where are an affiliated provider with Southern Cross, which means many appointment types and some procedures we can organise prior approval for ourselves. However some Procedures and medical supplies aren’t part of our affiliated provider agreement with Southern Cross, for these  the patient will need to organise prior approval for. The Consultants secretary will provide you with a quote for these and we ask you send this to Southern Cross to get confirmation of approval. Usually these will be covered, but the quotes do need to be sent from the patient, and prior approval confirmed prior to the appointment. We do ask that you send us any prior approval confirmation letter.. 

Other Insurance companies:

We will provide you with a quote, which must be sent to your insurance company for approval. Please forward us your approval letter or confirmation number.

Please fully read your appointment letter which will explain what is required. Please bring a list of medications, GP details, preferred pharmacy details, insurance details, list of questions you might have for your consultant if you like.

Not always. While it is helpful to make the most of the appointment, and we may know in advance if any other tests might be required along with your appointment, but it isn’t a requirement. Any information you can provide about why you would like an appointment would be helpful.

It depends on the procedure, please ask the specialist or nurse to advise, or ask your doctors PA to find out for you.

This can vary anything from 15 to 30 minutes, anything over this time can incur extra costs.

If you have a accepted claim we will invoice ACC on the day, or if you don’t have an accepted claim you will be required to pay and seek reimbursement from ACC.
